Anne has tagged me. Ummm, what can I say. It was relatively painless... I have to list five things to make that I haven't before. I assume she means something food related and not a scale model of the Channel Tunnel from 30,000 match sticks and a blob of damp tissue or anything.
- Eastern Food - I have never made anything remotely Indian. Or Chinese, Thai, Korean... time for some experimentation I think.
- Bloggers Food - I read plenty of food blogs. I have an OMPL file in Onfolio with something like 250 blogs of various hues, styles and locations (although I only read a handful regularly). I don't think I have made a single dish from any of them. Inspired by many but never actually followed.
- Yeast Culture - I attempt to make bread at least once a week. There is something about kneading the dough, something about getting your hands dirty, something raw. Keeping a yeast culture thingy going has always been in the back of my mind.
- Blackberry and Apple Pie - my mother makes the most blindingly delicious BAP. Simply my favourite dessert. Quintessentially English to me. But I have never attempted to make one.
- Custard - and of course the Blackberry and Apple Pie just has to be served with custard; another English dish or accompaniment that I have never made. Now where's that Birds Custard Powder...

Very nice, Andrew! Although hey, that tunnel model sounds exciting. Be that as it may, I'm really looking forward to the Blackberry Apple Pie! Which, I've never tried...
