A Kitchen Aid mixer or a camera tripod? A dilemma. Both would be handy. The former today especially as pounding 9oz brown sugar and 4 oz of butter until 'light and creamy' ain't easy by hand. Accompanying the cookie making instructions were little bags of white and dark chocolate. Cindy - you know Cindy, nice girl, lives in Montellier, knows her custard - consumes double chocolate cookies and diet Coke when in need of comfort (the theme for EBBP3). Declining to send the cola (it would only have been adulterated with rum anyway) a tin of Orange Tea replaced it. Let the comfort session commence! Although I had to bake the darn cookies first hence dreaming of a shiny new red Kitchen aid.

Tea and Cookies - my Euro Blogging By Post package from Cindy in the south of France

Many thanks to Johanna for organising this round and to Cindy for supplying me with some January comfort.

Sigh. It's times like these (EBBP time) that I wish I still lived in Europe. Good luck with those cookies.
