Top shelf: half tin of coffee, a couple of sliced artichokes in olive oil, two rash of bacon and one lump of stem ginger in syrup.
Middle shelf: two bottles of wine, one white, one pink.
Third shelf: bag of locally grown, 'picked this morning' broad beans, small lump of Tallegio cheese.
Salad box: empty.
In door (not shown): a lump of butter, half a pint of semi-skimmed, small, opened, tub of double cream.
It would seem a broad bean and tallegio risotto for tonight. A bacon sandwich tomorrow. Perhaps I could whip up the cream and mix with the ginger for a dessert?
I don't really like artichokes.

Oh no... I'll have to agree with you here :( But it's all the more fantastic how you work magic with such a sparsely populated fridge!
(I love artichokes! I think it should definitely find a place in that risotto of the future :)

Get shopping boy! My fridge is empty too, but I am away on holiday for 2 weeks. It will make choices easier and there won't be any waste.

If you're starting a collection, I could manage a small donation. We can't have you starving.
