A dish inspired by Jeanne's boerewors, peppadew and haloumi skewers [picture]. A simple mix of meat-packed sausages and slices of the South African peppadew and a handful of chopped parsley. Simple but tasty. And rather photogenic, I hope you agree, in the evening light down by the Thames.

Hi Andrew,
this picture is definitely mouthwatering and i'm not even fond of meat!!!

By the way, i answered your email just about a minute ago and i am more than happy to host DMBLGIT. Hope you'll accept my appologies for answering so late :) Pretty please!

I agree, I agree, very photogenic!!!

Looks absolutely delicious!!!

Mmmm. As I loved Jeanne's "macho" canape at Johanna's place, then I'd probably like your salad, too. But where are the halloumi pieces?

Well I did say it was 'based on' Jeannes recipe... actually I forgot to buy the cheese and the skewers so had to improvise ;-)
