Roast Lamb and Watercress Add/Read Comments

A real break with tradition - serving a roast without a potato in sight. Without proper veg too (where did 'meat and two veg' originate?). One of my more successful attempts at a lamb roast, an excellent gravy enlivened with fresh mint (although where it has all gone in the picture I have no idea) and served on top of a large bunch of watercress. Another from The Diaries, sorry about that. The wine was an excellent accompaniment too but I've lost the tasting note and can't remember which bottle piled into the recycling bin it was poured from.

Watercress goes so well with lamb.
We grow our own now and it's great to have really fresh watercress to hand 24/7.
