It doesn't look very appetising does it? This is the drained can of Grelos that Fini sent me from Spain as part of EBBP2. Apparently it is a Galician speciality. I can see why it was sheltering in the back of her cupboard! I think its spinach or rocket or something. It had a 'green' flavour and most ended up in a chicken risotto - with carrots and beans - where its subtle flavour kinda disappeared. Which was lucky ;-) I jest. They added a nice leafy undercurrant to the flavour. The risotto incidentally was delicious with Margrain Pinot Gris from New Zealand.
