Picnic at the Henley Regatta  Add/Read Comments

The 2nd annual food bloggers picnic at Henley Regatta. Superb day (if a little too hot), scrumptious food and the best company you could share a nibble and a glass of Pimms with. (More pictures and details to follow).

Oh, I wish I could have been there. It looks great!

where is the bakewell redux?

Sam - Waiting for a couple of late entries and some pictures....

Anne - it was great, if really, really hot

I meant not where is the bakewell roundup - I thought you were going to try and make an unbirnt one for the picnic, is what i was trying to allude to :P

I did indeed make a batch of small bakewells- unburnt!! Jeanne brought one as did Xochitil. We had a little taste test but to be honest it was really too hot to fully appreciate them and mine got rather crushed on the walk from the town to the picnic.

I will use the pictures in the bakewell round-up; hopefully tomorrow.

I concur with Anne, wish I could have been there too since it's tad cooler where I'm at! ;)

Oh, the Henely Regatta - how delicious!

I'm from Abingdon originally and used to drive through Henley every Sunday to visit my grandparents in Bracknell. Now in Marin, California. Someday...I'll be back. Thanks for the pics.
