I've been to France this week; Angers to be precise. Ostensibly for the Loire Salon Wine Fair - a four day showcase of the Loire win fraternity - but the Wednesday gave over to wander the streets and take a few snaps.

The morning was grey, wet and cold not perhaps the most ideal of conditions for a stroll or picture taking but on circling the Cathedral the sun burst through the clouds. An elderly gent in mac and wide brimmed hat was in front but I was a little slow in realising the photographic potential.

By the time I reached Angers Castle the weather had improved remarkibly...
