It wasn’t my usual pick of things to do; organised tourist tours are not my thing… I’m not and never have been a ‘tourist’! But here I was picked up from the hotel early in the morning for a trip from Manly up to the Blue Mountains. A day of tourist trails through a rain forest, a little aboriginal culture – the Three Sisters, rock carvings and so on – a fun couple of minutes on the steepest railway in the world, a meat pie for lunch and one of the most majestic views in the world, before home in time for tea. Australia… and for a while not a single mention of wine! Plenty of time for being the tourist photographer mind.
