The sun was in the wrong position for my planned panorama of the Thames from Wallingford Bridge. And besides I was hankering after a G&T and Waitrose was closing in a few minutes. My stroll over the grounds of Wallingford Castle and into the fields beyond did yield a couple of snaps; it was so damn windy though – that cow parlsey just wasn’t playing ball and staying in focus!
