The add-on to Spittoon - Recipes, Photographs and Travel
After months, if not years, of derision over my inability to get my saggy arse up to Borough Market I actually went there this morning. Expecting a hoard of tourists the market was decidedly empty; mind you I was early and many stalls were still setting up. But I’ve finally been.And brought stuff too.

Damn – so what am I going to deride you about now?!
Glad you finally made it there – it’s a treasure trove isn’t it, and a photographers paradise. Clearly the trick is to go early on a Friday, not midday on a Saturday when I always do, and get swamped by the punters!!
As I left it did seem there were more photographers and browsers than people buying…
