Does My Blog Look Good In This (DMBLGIT) is a monthly food photography event, called by some as “the grandest foodporn event available” on the web. And perhaps the longest running of all blogging events, having started way back in 2005. It is open to all bloggers who have posted a photograph with a food or drink connection. Each monthly round is hosted by a different blogger. Food bloggers submit their best photos from posts they completed during the previous month which are then judged and scored. Winners are made covering three categories (edibility, aesthetics, and originality) plus three overall winners.

Each month, a new contest starts, hosted on a different food blogger’s site.

Forthcoming Hosts:

• It would seem that DMBLGIT has reached its end I am afraid. No volunteers have come forward as hosts. Such events reach their natural conclusion eventually and I think DMBLGIT has had a good run. Over the years many such blogger events have come and gone; DMBLGIT had an excellent run in comparison lasting nearly 7 years. Thanks to one and all who participated; I for one have been more than inspired by the skills and dedication of hosts and participants.
