Simplicity itself to make – squares of chocolate brownie, topped with cherries in kirsch (the kirsch adding a sophisticated ‘adult’ flavour but a tin of cherries in syrup would suffice) and a spoonful or two of the juice. Add a little whipped cream and shavings of dark chocolate.

The most difficult thing about this dessert is cleaning up the spilt cream from the kitchen floor, the result of some over eager whipping action!

  2. I’ve been working on a translation the whole day. It’s almost 11pm, I ate a sandwich for dinner and now… I see THIS!!! Pure torture.
I happen to have a bottle of delicious german kirsch but I wouldn’t know where to find cherries. They are almost non-existent here in the south of Brazil :(
    Gorgeous picture as always.
    big hug.

  3. Saw the one with raspberries which looked fantastic but this looks amazing too!
