Cherry Clafoutis. Add/Read Comments

If I had a garden a cherry tree would take pride of place - mind you I would also want an apple tree or two. My parents next door neighbour had a superbly fruitful plum tree, huge juicy fruits, that sadly got destroyed in the great storm of 1987. One of those too then please. You have to ask though why cherries are so damn expensive... Cherry Clafoutis as detailed by Jeanne over on Cooksister. Crisp around the rim, crunchy from the almonds and flavoursome and juicy from the plump, brandy drenched fruits.

Ooooh, I sense the Big Cherry Clafoutis Bake-off looming!! It's wire whisks at dawn, I tell you... ;-)
Isn't it just the most divine dessert? Saw a recipe yesterday for a caramelised fig clafoutis with goat's cheese. OMG.
