From a recipe by Sophie Grigson - Brussels Sprouts in Cream: par-boiled sprouts, added to a mix of chopped pancetta and sliced almonds fried in butter and oil until the bacon is golden brown. A wicked touch added with plenty of double cream. Salt and Pepper too. Spooned into an oven proof dish and topped with a mix of breadcrumbs and Parmesan shavings, then baked for 20 minutes or so. Wonderful served with a grilled pork chop and accompanied by a cool glass of something white.
