FoodPorn Topic Guide

For sometime now I have had the honour of being a BlogBridge topic expert. This basically involves maintaining and fine-tuning a topic guide: a list of highly relevant feeds on a certain subject, in addition to the wine related list as detailed on Spittoon, I also maintain four food related topics - Best Food Blogs, Best Food Porn Blogs, British Food Blogs and a more general World Food Blog list. Topic experts in other, generally more tech related areas, are profiled at the BlogBridge Expert Archives, while their topic guides are listed in the BlogBridge Topic Expert Library.

It is critical for topic experts to identify only the very best feeds in their given specialisation which is why the Best Food Blog list numbers just 11 and the Food Porn (best food images) has 17 blogs currently listed from the many available.

Anyone can browse the BlogBridge Library and download lists of topic-centred feeds (they're in OPML format), users of the BlogBridge RSS reader in particular benefit from this because of the Reading List feature. These subscriptions enable BlogBridge users to receive a notification when a particular guide has been updated - new feeds added or when deletions occur for whatever reason - by just clicking the sync button. Three of these topic guides are displayed in the side bar or you can add the OMPL files to your own reader: Best Food Blogs, Best Food Porn, Brit Food Blogs, World Food Blogs.
