Not one of the most successful of bakes. The recipe (detailed on SlashFood) seems to be lacking a liquid element. As the crumbly mix was tipped into the loaf tin this thought struck - "umm, dry... very dry". Tasted nice once made, even if it didn't hold together. As the currants were brought specifically for this one-off bake and laziness precluded another trip to Waitrose we may never find out what it is suppose to resemble.
