It’s 11:30 in the morning. I have tomato ketchup dribbling down my chin, greasy finger prints over the computer keyboard and a glass of lightly chilled red wine in hand. Drinking! At this time in the morning!
The things we do for Wine Blogging Wednesday; this months theme is a wine for beakfast for which I latched onto matching the humble bacon sandwich with a red wine. I’ll have to have a doze this afternoon though; drinking at lunchtime or, in this case, pre-lunch always requires an afternoon snooze. Well if you can’t exercise a little decadence once in awhile…

Back in the Old Country, the deadline to start drinking was when the first aeroplane of the day had flown over, and by t11h30 I’m sure hundreds must already have left Heathrow
I’m more concerned about the grease on the keyboard!! Stunning shot. Bacon sarnies are this country’s crowning achievement if you ask me 
there’s nothing about that picture i don’t like. this is why my british husband curses our bacon here in the states. you just can’t make the same bacon sandwich here!
