The electricity failed at midday and it is now a quarter to eight in the evening. Plans for a leisurely dinner, a prolonged blogging session, and photo tinkering abandoned.

To be honest it turned out hot and humid so my appetite correspondingly decreased. A meal of freshly baked rolls (luckily made yesterday) dipped in A.Mano Olive Oil and served with a few juicy tomatoes and firm black olives was plenty, with the olive oil estates rosato.

So often the rosés I serve are over-chilled but this bottle, stuck in the slowly warming fridge had reached perfect temperature. After drinking the whole bottle all that remains is a concern over the contents of the freezer...
